PROJECT (A.L.E.R.T.)
ACTIVE LEADERSHIP ON EMERGENCY RESPONSE TECHNIQUES
The flagship program of the Schools Division Office of Muntinlupa promotes disaster preparedness, capacity building, empowerment, leadership, and awareness among students, teachers, and the community.
It contains facets of different programs and activities anchored to the educational DRRM-CCA framework (DO 37 s.2015) supported by the 3 Pillars, (1) Safe School Facilities, (2) DRRM Management, and (3) DRRM in Curriculum and focuses on the student, teacher, and community empowerment.
It provides strong collaboration and partnership with different stakeholders and other government agencies concerning school DRRM.
STUDENT EMPOWERMENT
PROJECT B.E.R.T.
(Batang Empowered Resilience Team)
BERT aims to strengthen the readiness and sharpen the alertness of each student in mitigating and responding to an emergency or disaster risk.
PROJECT C.L.E.A.R.
(Conservation of Laguna De Bay’s Environment And Resources)
Establish an information and communication network that would foster dialogue and exchange of knowledge among stakeholders towards the more concerted effort in the conservation and management of the lake and CCA
Strengthen partnerships with local communities by involving students in environment and stewardship

PROJECT R-ED
(Resilience in Education)
RE-D aims to strengthen the readiness and capacity of the teaching & non-teaching personnel in mitigating and responding to an emergency or disaster risk.
PROJECT GABAY

Aims to mitigate and respond to immediate emergency or disaster in Muntinlupa and to handle, process and refer emotional and psychological trauma through PFA and MHPSS

Aims to mainstream disability into Disaster Risk Reduction Management & Climate Change Adaptation Initiatives in SDO Muntinlupa.
PROJECT S.A.F.E.
(School Assessment on saFety & sEcurity)
Aims to provide services to ensure that safety practices are implemented, and to check structurally safe buildings, grounds, and facilities for SDO-Muntinlupa and schools

(RE-Tool by Enhancing the Resilience of Schools and Communities to Disasters and Climate Change)
Reduce the vulnerability and increase the adaptive capacities of schools in the city of Muntinlupa to the impacts of disasters and climate change.
Build the capacity of schools to engage school personnel and students in the participatory planning process in order to prepare, adapt, and transform relevant and feasible activities in DRRM-CCA-EIE.
