Brigada Eskwela 2019

INTRODUCTION

When children learn, the nation prospers. The pupils’ contribution to nation building is very crucial, and this could only happen, if they learned and realized their full potential. This is the most critical role of teachers and the school. Hence, preparation before the opening of the school year is vital.

The multifarious concern of school, however; hinders the necessity of ensuring full preparedness before the formal opening. Hence, it demands working with others to accomplish designed tasks and objectives. These would need dedicated school personnel, cooperative parents, accountable community and innovative learners.

Believing that the community cannot stand without the school and likewise the school without the community. We greatly believed that the school is the face of the barangay. Thus, all the people in the community even those whose children were not studying in the school, volunteered to support the program.

Relative to Dep.Ed Memorandum No.36 s. 2019, all public elementary and secondary schools nationwide implemented the Brigada Eskwela 2019 with the theme “Matatag na Bayan para sa maunlad na Paaralan.” The said activity is a school maintenance program that engaged all education stakeholders to contribute their time, effort and resources in ensuring that public school facilities are set for the forth coming school opening.

Thus, through this plan the school with its stakeholders will be guided to reflect on the past and present school years’ performance, assess results, plan & project a future where school efforts be directed which will help Brigada Eskwela implementation & plan for possible adjustment and to achieve continuous higher learning outcomes to attain the Education for All (EFA) goals.
