The Laguna Library Hub, a project of Department of Education, servicing the 24 districts of SDO Laguna is located at San Luis Sports Complex in Barangay Bubukal, Santa Cruz, Laguna - approximately one and a half kilometers from the Division Office. This project was initiated by the retired Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Lilia T. Reyes, together with the help and cooperation of Education Supervisors. The previous Governor of Laguna, Teresita S. Lazaro sponsored the Library Hub Project. She funded the construction cost of the Hub, including the provision of furniture and equipment. The DepEd provided the Supplementary Reading Materials, including the 500,000 capital outlay.
The Laguna Library Hub was inaugurated on August 14, 2008, with 45,495 collections of Supplementary Reading Materials, consisting of 36,140 for the local titles and 9,355 for the foreign titles.
