Taywanak National High School proudly celebrates its achievement in the Bible Quiz Bee 2026, securing 5th Place in the Junior High School Category during the awarding ceremony held at Alfonso Town Plaza on January 23, 2026.
This remarkable accomplishment reflects the courage, dedication, and faith of our hardworking students who represented the school with excellence.
Heartfelt gratitude is extended to our beloved students for bravely taking on this challenge and giving their very best. Special thanks are also due to our supportive School Principal, Dr. Ma. Cecilia A. Andrada, whose encouragement continues to inspire our academic and spiritual growth.

Our school recently conducted a meaningful and enriching School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) session aimed at strengthening both teacher well-being and instructional excellence. The activity was highlighted by the presence of our distinguished resource speaker, Ma’am Jennefer G. Enguancho, who shared valuable insights on the timely and relevant topic, “Achieving Work-Life Well-Being for Educators”, alongside effective techniques to promote Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in the classroom.
During the session, Ma’am Enguancho emphasized the importance of maintaining balance between professional responsibilities and personal wellness, reminding teachers that a healthy educator is essential to student success. She also introduced practical classroom strategies that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and active learner engagement.
Participants actively took part in discussions, reflections, and collaborative activities—demonstrating the spirit of continuous learning that the Learning Action Cell seeks to cultivate. The school community expresses its sincere appreciation to Ma’am Jennefer G. Enguancho for generously sharing her expertise and inspiring educators to grow both personally and professionally. This SLAC session stands as a testament to our commitment to lifelong learning, teacher empowerment, and quality education for all learners.

On January 13, 2026, our school was honored to welcome Ma’am Bernie Bencito, Education Program Supervisor (EPS) in Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE), for an instructional monitoring visit. The activity proved to be a valuable opportunity for reflection and growth as Ma’am Bencito observed classroom practices and reviewed teachers’ instructional materials. She gave positive feedback on the overall conduct of teaching and learning processes, highlighting the dedication and professionalism of our educators.
In particular, she commended the well-organized compilation of Daily Lesson Logs (DLL) and Daily Lesson Plans (DLP), as well as the carefully maintained quiz notebooks, which demonstrated teachers’ commitment to documentation, assessment, and learner progress monitoring. The school community gratefully acknowledges Ma’am Bernie Bencito for her constructive guidance and encouraging remarks, which continue to motivate teachers to uphold quality instruction and effective classroom management.
This successful monitoring visit reinforces our shared goal of sustaining excellence in teaching and learning for the benefit of our learners.

Our school proudly celebrates a meaningful partnership with two valued stakeholders—Rotary Club of Geelong Central, Australia, and Rotary International Multinational Manila 3810—whose generous support has significantly contributed to the success of our school programs for the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) Club. Through this collaboration, various initiatives promoting environmental awareness, leadership, and student engagement were made possible, empowering learners to become responsible stewards of nature and active members of the community.
As a gesture of gratitude and appreciation, the school formally presented Certificates of Recognition to our Rotary partners, acknowledging their unwavering commitment to education, youth development, and environmental advocacy.
