"Empowering Education Through Knowledge: Highlights from the 2023 Division Research Congress"

The 2023 Division Research Congress was a significant event that brought together educators, researchers, and professionals in the field of education to showcase and discuss the latest findings and innovations in teaching and learning. Held on August 25, 2023, this congress was a platform for collaboration, reflection, and knowledge-sharing, fostering a sense of unity and purpose among participants.

The event began with a sense of national pride as Mrs. Dorislyn Bellosillo, MT-I, led everyone in singing the National Anthem. This was followed by a moment of reflection, as Ms. Estela B. Fano, P-II, offered a heartfelt prayer. The regional and Capiz hymns added a touch of local culture and pride to the proceedings.

Dr. Edna B. Azcarraga, the Education Program Supervisor and Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the SGOD Chief, warmly welcomed all attendees. Her opening remarks set the tone for a day of learning, collaboration, and inspiration. The keynote message from Dr. Miguel Mac D. Aposin, CESO V, the Schools Division Superintendent, was a highlight of the opening program. Dr. Aposin's message likely touched on the importance of research in education and its impact on student outcomes and the overall improvement of the education system.

The heart of the congress was the presentation of Action Research Studies. Divided into two sets, these presentations showcased the hard work and dedication of educators in their pursuit of educational excellence. Dr. July Falagne, P-I, facilitated the sessions, while reactors Estela V. Fano, P-II, and Dr. Marggie A. Obligacion provided insightful feedback after each presentation. This interactive format encouraged lively discussions and the exchange of ideas, contributing to the growth and development of research in education.

After a morning filled with engaging discussions and presentations, participants took a well-deserved lunch break to recharge.

Mrs. Dorislyn Bellosillo, MT-I, returned to the stage, not only as a singer but also as an entertainer, adding a touch of art and culture to the congress. Her performance likely entertained and uplifted the spirits of everyone in attendance.

The afternoon session mirrored the morning, with a fresh set of Action Research Studies presented to the eager audience. Once again, Dr. July Falagne, P-I, skillfully moderated the session, while Estela V. Fano, P-II, and Dr. Marggie A. Obligacion provided their valuable insights. This part of the congress continued the tradition of fostering an environment of collaboration and learning.

Alan Vincent B. Altamia, EPS-I in EsP (Education for Sustainable Development) and Guidance, shared insights gained from the research presented during the congress. This reflection likely served as a summary of the key takeaways from the day's presentations, emphasizing the practical applications and implications of the research findings.

The event concluded with the presentation of certificates to the participants, recognizing their valuable contributions to the congress and their dedication to advancing education through research.

The  2023 Division Research Congress was a successful gathering of educators and researchers, driven by a shared passion for improving education. It provided a platform for the exchange of ideas, the presentation of innovative research, and the fostering of collaboration among educational professionals.
