Camalaniugan National High School is one of the secondary schools in the municipality of Camalaniugan. Having a population of 2,853 learners and 131 Teaching and Non-teaching Personnel, it is considered to be as one of the biggest Secondary Schools in the Division of Cagayan. Throughout the years, Camalaniugan National High School has produced countless professionals. It only proves that it is the place "Where DREAMS meet REALITY".

Udarbe makes it to 20 Outstanding Youth Leaders of Cagayan 2021

Possessing characteristics and attitude of being a youth leader, Limuel Udarbe, Teacher I of the Camalaniugan National High School, was awarded one of the 20 Outstanding Youth Leaders of Cagayan 2021 at Casa Angela Convention Hall, Tuguegarao City on February 26, 2021.

The said event was organized by the office of Provincial Sangguniang Kabataan thru its President, Engr. Kevin Timbas. The primary goal of the activity is to recognize the efforts of young leaders in nation building and selfless service.

Out of 92 nominees, 4o qualified to undergo series of interview and youth formation which was held at Basi Elementary School, Basi, Solana, Cagayan on February 11-12, 2021. Among the 40 finalists, 20 were granted plaques, certificates and medals as Outstanding Youth Leaders of Cagayan.

Meanwhile, Udarbe was the former Governor of School of Education Arts and Sciences Department of University of Saint Louis. He also represented the said institution in the Search for Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines 2016. Furthermore, Limuel was the District President of United Methodist Youth Fellowship of Northeast Cagayan District. He was also involved in outreach activities of their church and recently. he initiated a fund raising for the victims of Typhoon Ulysses through his #SampungPisoParaSaBawatCagayano campaign.

"This medals and plaques would mean nothing without the guidance of every significant individuals who have pushed me to become the person I am today. Thank you for your motivation and bunch of learning!" Udarbe stated.

Eneres exposes voice in virtual singing contest

Torres, Raquepo awarded in SALUDO EDUCATORS 2020

Christopher P. Torres, Teacher III, and Eden B. Raquepo, Master Teacher I, of the Camalaniugan National High School gained a spot in SALUDO EDUCATORS 2020 held at Gampao Gymnasium, Gonzaga, Cagayan on December 11, 2020.

Torres and Raquepo, exemplifying selfless efforts and dedication in the teaching profession, earned their place in their own teacher-category as this year's SALUDO 2020 in the Congressional District 1 of the Province of Cagayan.

Mr. Christopher P. Torres, awardee of the Teacher I-III Category, is one of the assets of the school. He is currently the Camalaniugan District President of Strengthening Implementation through Research, Innovations and Bolsters (SIRIB), an organization that promotes innovation through researches. He is also the Municipal Culture and Arts Action Officer-Designate and the Camalaniugan District Culture and Arts Coordinator. Aside from being a teacher, he also practices his profession as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife by rendering his service to the endeavor of Municipal Health Office. With his involvement in the community and selfless service, he truly deserves a big salute.

Achieving the award under the Master Teacher I Category, Mrs. Eden B. Raquepo, epitomized passion in effecting action researches in teaching. She is currently the Science Subject Coordinator and consistently representing the school in Reasearch Activities. Her spirited commitment as educator made her way to be recognized as one of the Outstanding Teachers of the district! The merit is indeed hers!

For the moment, the CNHS family is honored with this achievement. Eleazar L. Rabaja, PhD., School Principal III, supported and challenged all JHS and SHS teachers in this kind of endeavor.

Torres hails Top 2 in the search for Natatanging Guro 2020

The Office of Sanguniang Kabataan headed by Ex-Officio Board Member SK Federation Provincial President Engr. Alniñoson Kevin Timbas conducted a Search for Natatanging Guro 2020 in honor to the selfless efforts of considered to be modern heroes, our educators, in the province of Cagayan. Many were nominated but only 20 of them were qualified to proceed to the next round. The finalist had to undergo a nerve-wracking virtual interview. This interview will determine who among these finalists will be the Top 10 Natatanging Guro of year 2020.

Mr. Christopher Torres, Teacher III of MAPEH department was nominated by his mentee and an alumna of Camalaniugan National High School, Ms. Jhemarie P. Tamanu. Ms. Tamanu described Mr. Torres as "Tatlong Personalidad sa Isang Katauhan". He is active in serving others. Aside from being a teacher, he participates in the activities of Municipal Health Office such as OPLAN:TULI given a fact that he is a Registered Nurse and a Registered Midwife. He is the the Municipal Designated for Culture and the Arts and the Camalaniugan Gay Association President.

With all his humble achievements and great involvement, he placed 2nd in the Search for Natatanging Guro 2020, Provincial Level. Engr. Timbas together with Mr. John Mauro Manuel, the co-author of the search awarded his prize and the certificate at Camalaniugan National High School Library on October 8, 2020.
