Christopher P. Torres, Teacher III, and Eden B. Raquepo, Master Teacher I, of the Camalaniugan National High School gained a spot in SALUDO EDUCATORS 2020 held at Gampao Gymnasium, Gonzaga, Cagayan on December 11, 2020.
Torres and Raquepo, exemplifying selfless efforts and dedication in the teaching profession, earned their place in their own teacher-category as this year's SALUDO 2020 in the Congressional District 1 of the Province of Cagayan.
Mr. Christopher P. Torres, awardee of the Teacher I-III Category, is one of the assets of the school. He is currently the Camalaniugan District President of Strengthening Implementation through Research, Innovations and Bolsters (SIRIB), an organization that promotes innovation through researches. He is also the Municipal Culture and Arts Action Officer-Designate and the Camalaniugan District Culture and Arts Coordinator. Aside from being a teacher, he also practices his profession as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife by rendering his service to the endeavor of Municipal Health Office. With his involvement in the community and selfless service, he truly deserves a big salute.
Achieving the award under the Master Teacher I Category, Mrs. Eden B. Raquepo, epitomized passion in effecting action researches in teaching. She is currently the Science Subject Coordinator and consistently representing the school in Reasearch Activities. Her spirited commitment as educator made her way to be recognized as one of the Outstanding Teachers of the district! The merit is indeed hers!
For the moment, the CNHS family is honored with this achievement. Eleazar L. Rabaja, PhD., School Principal III, supported and challenged all JHS and SHS teachers in this kind of endeavor.
