What are the possible career paths you may take in this curriculum exit?
New K-12 Curriculum
This new curriculum is a 12-year program which gives students enough time to master skills. Through this program, it is expected that most graduates are aged 18 and above and are already legal for employment.
Kindergarten is mandatory for five-year-old children and is a requirement to be admitted to Grade 1. This continues until Grade 12, hence the acronym "K-12".
The curriculum gives students the chance to choose among three tracks (Academic; Technical-Vocational-Livelihood; Sports; and Arts and Design) where students must undergo immersion, exposing them to relevant experiences and skills needed in their chosen track.
Senior High School Tracks
The Department of Education (DepEd), through the K-12 curriculum, provides various tracks for its learners. Here at Lipa City Senior High School, we are offering the Academic Track.
In our school, the Academic Track offers three Strands: ABM, HUMSS, and STEM.
The ABM Strand is for those who plan to take up business-related courses in higher education or engage in business, entrepreneurship, and other business-related careers. This would focus on the basic concepts of financial management, business management, corporate operations, and all things that are accounted for.
