Camachiles is a plant grown as tree with small round leaves, white flowers and spiral fruits mostly in green color. When mature, some fruits turn to light pink, where in those years Camatsilles trees were found in the whole barangay.
In the absence of a school within the barangay, pupils enrolled at Talimundok and Dau Elementary School. In 1993, a school was established through the joint effort of Mrs. Carmelita P. Sotto, the Principal II of Talimundok Elementary School and the late Brgy. Captain Ladislao Miranda and it was named Camachiles Primary School. A two classroom building was constructed on the land measuring 500sq.m. donated by Mrs. Luz Morales, the land is situated near an open space of a subdivision along the national highway of barangay Camachiles, Mabalacat Pampanga.
However, expansion was necessary due to growth of the school population . In the year 1995, due to increase of enrollees, additional classrooms were constructed through the generosity of Mr. Anthony Dee, Thus, the conversion of the school from Camachiles Primary School to Camachiles Elementary School during the same year came to be . Fencing of the occupied open space was under the initiative of Mrs. Consolacion B. David, who was then the Teacher In Charge of the school. A year after, another two classroom were constructed to house the growing number of pupils of the school. Six classrooms were not sufficient for twelve (12) classes, so a covered court was solicited to serve as classroom and some other purposes.
After 8 long years of occupancy, a lot owner demanded for relocation of the school to a new space 200 meters away from the old site, which she purchased for the children. Through the initiative of the principal then, Mrs. Lucita Dizon, buildings were constructed by the DPWH and Congressman Francis Blueboy Nepomoceno. Another development of the new site was initiated by Miss Ruby C. Laquindanum.
Under the leadership of Ms. Charito C. Perez, Camachiles Elementary was one of the schools chosen to be a part of Mabalacat East District during the redistricting of schools. Hence improvement of the school was continuous through the effort of Mrs. Lilibeth B. Landig.
