Educators believe that environment plays a big part in student’s learning – and so the Bulawan National High School response to this year’s theme: “Isang Deped, Isang Pamayanan, Isang Bayanihan, Para sa handa at ligtas na Pamayanan” wherein the school head and the teachers waved for the goal “One for all, All for One” which aims to have both internal and external stakeholders display a community of oneness and unity.

Early morning of May 15, the school head and the teachers of Bulawan National High School welcomed the community with a smile wherein the different groups of volunteers were acknowledge. Right after was the short orientation about the mechanics of the 6 – day activity and designation of assigned area of the different groups.

Finally the Brigada Eskwela 2017 was announced. The willing, ready and abled brigade of teachers, Barangay Officials, parents and students start the tasks assigned to them.

The parents together with their Purok president and assigned Barangay Official worked together to cleaned and enhanced the school surrounding from pathway to front façade, from front yard to the back yard and even the school garden.

And after a tiring day, the school offers them a refreshing snacks while the Barangay officials treat them with a lunch. Amidst the heat of the sun and rains, they continued to work to ensure a learning institution that is safe and conducive to learning for their sons and daughters.

Not only did they enhanced the physical development of the school but as well as to meet the needs of the learners through making of the computer’s table.

Indeed, all the education stakeholders contributed their time, effort and resources in ensuring that the school environment and facilities are ready in time for the school opening.

May 20, 2017 Saturday was the last day of Brigada Skwela. Through the overwhelming support of the volunteers, Barangay Officials and teachers – the school is now ready for the school opening.
