Mr. Ray Enrick Moses Rodriguez, shares his unforgettable experiences while being the coach of the sport; Sepak Takraw. His encounter with the players leaves everyone in awe because of how he handled the team all together. One for all, all for one. They say.
From being a first timer coach as well as the players, everyone started practicing 29 days before the division meet, the BNVNHS Sepak Takraw boys secondary now called as the Kapalong Cobras. From 29 days, the coach's involvement with the players is something he treasures. His eyes that shine like a beautiful star from the sky full of darkness that screams love, purity, and determination, and how he talks because of how precious this kind of memory.
It lasted for 29 days yet everyone thought that it was longer than that. The team itself got a trainer named Ric John Indac, their main coach, as well as John Patrick Lipranum, Rommel Parsian and Joy Leparto , the assistant trainers. The bond, love and friendship that got built because of their love for each other.’
Like a boat that sailed into the ocean full of storms that was slowly approaching. They remain strong and positive with each other, their faith that got them all together and made them as one. An exhausting game yet full of wisdom, motivation, and determination.
“Sometimes it’s the journey that teaches you a lot about your destination.” -Drake
As what their coach said that he may not get to be strict with the rules since he’s also new but the players treated him like their own teammates, making jokes and laughing together, but still respect him like how they respect their trainers. The love, respect, and gratitude will always be with him, as these precious memories will forever be embedded in his heart no matter how much time passes.

TVL 12 MOCK JOB INTERVIEW
By: Lyka Gonzales
The mock job interview work immersion was successfully conducted in Baltazar Nicor Valenzuela National High School on April 3, 2023, around 8:00 AM participated by the Grade 12 students under the strand of Technical-Vocational-Livelihood Track (TVL).
This is administered in order to provide the SHS learners an opportunity to apply their specialization for practical use while preparing them for the actual work environment. The Mock Job Interview was conducted on the school’s faculty 2 handled by Ma’am Carjoline G. Delima and Sir Ray Enrick Moses A. Rodriguez, in the clinic facility where Sir Cherwel Jake B. Maque was assigned, and in the DOMRAC room attended by Sir Glenn J. Milan.
The students were interviewed one by one, and although nervous, they still did their best to answer each question where they were only allowed to speak Tagalog and English. But to state their answers more clearly, the teachers permitted them to speak in their mother tongue Bisaya if they wanted to.
The inquiries are mostly about introducing themselves as the teachers checked their resume, what position they are applying to, why they should be hired, and the skills and edge they possess over the other participants. But other questions were still asked with the goal of testing their critical thinking, comprehension, and honesty.
One of the students who was asked where he sees himself 5 years from now if he was hired today answered, “Maybe Sir if I am hired today, 5 years from now in this company- I would probably contribute many things, would be promoted by doing my utmost best to do anything I can.’’ The Mock Job Interview was successfully executed and ended around 9:50 AM. With this, the students will have their experience on what employment in the workplace would be.
