The learning patterns of today’s learners are rapidly evolving alongside technological advancements. Students now engage with digital platforms, intelligent systems, and data-driven tools that redefine how they access, process, and create knowledge. In response, teachers must be equipped not only to adapt but to lead these changes by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Emerging Technologies into the teaching and learning process. 

Recognizing this shift and to continoulsy bolster the region’s operational banner “DepEd Bicol cares, shares and serves with a SMILE (Serbisyong Mabilis at Mahusay, Ialay Lagi sa Edukasyon)”, the Department of Education Regional Office V, through the Human Resource Development Division – National Educators Academy of the Philippines in the region (HRDD–NEAP R5), is gearing up for the implementation of a massive and targeted professional development for teachers on 2026.
