If your dream is to become a teacher, a lawyer, a psychologist, an author, a criminologist, a journalist, a police, or a priest, then Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) is for you.  HUMSS is one of the strands offered to Senior High students which aims to improve the learner's reading, writing, and speaking skills.  Although without much math and numbers, HUMSS gives you a better and deeper  appreciation and knowledge of understanding arts, culture, literature, politics, and society.

Some of the specialized subjects under this strand are Introduction to World Religions and Belief System, Disciplines and Ideas in the Social Sciences, Creative Writing, Disciplines and Ideas in the Applied Social Sciences, Creative Nonfiction, Philippine Politics and Governance, and Trends, Networks, and Critical Thinking in the 21st  Century.  Just like any other strands, HUMSS is challenging, but fulfilling  as it prepares you to be the future shaper of our country.
