The General Parents-Teachers Association (GPTA) serves as assistance unit and as a major partner of the school whose affiliation shall be characterized by collaborative and open dialogue to stimulate the wellbeing of the learners. As reflected in the DepEd Order 54, s. 2009, the association should provide a forum for the discussion of issues and their solutions related to the total school program and to ensure the full cooperation of parents in the efficient implementation of such program.
