Project TRUST is an initiative of Alegria Integrated School that aims to strengthen transparency, accountability, and participatory governance within the school community. Guided by the principles of openness, responsibility, and unity, the project seeks to ensure that all stakeholders—teachers, learners, parents, and community members—are informed and involved in the school’s programs, accomplishments, and use of resources.
This initiative reflects the school’s commitment to uphold good governance and foster trust among stakeholders as a foundation for continuous improvement and transformation.
To kick off Project TRUST, Alegria Integrated School will install a new Transparency Board prominently positioned facing the main entrance of the school.
The board will serve as an information hub displaying:
Financial reports and fund utilization
School accomplishments and ongoing projects
Announcements, procurement postings, and MOOE updates
Other relevant school data for public information
This ensures that transparency is not only practiced but also visibly demonstrated to everyone entering the school premises.
Objective: To extend transparency to the digital space and provide easy access for stakeholders who cannot visit the school in person.
Details:
Upload quarterly transparency reports on the official Alegria Integrated School website.
Reports to include:
Financial statements and fund utilization
School accomplishments and ongoing projects
Updates on procurement, programs, and MOOE
Ensure reports are regularly updated and accessible to parents, learners, and community members
Expected Outcome:
Wider access to school information for all stakeholders
Increased engagement and feedback from parents and the community
Enhanced credibility and accountability of the school administration
Regular posting and updating of school programs and financial reports both on the board and online
Monthly Stakeholder Feedback Sessions
Workshops on Ethical Governance and Accountability for teachers and staff
Annual Transparency Review and Recognition for exemplary practices
Principal and designated staff will monitor the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of information posted
Stakeholder feedback will be collected and used to improve transparency practices
Progress will be reported during school meetings and through school publications
