As part of the educational system which caters to the welfare and safety of the stakeholders, in this context that the proponents were motivated to propose the BATA! BATA! SAGOT KITA (School Supplies Drive) wherein donors and sponsors will be solicited /will be invited to provide school supplies or learners’ kit to the beneficiaries of the school stakeholders, most especially the learners of Abanon National High School who are less fortunate to avail the materials/school supplies needed to be utilized and to continue the school year 2022-2023.
The BATA! BATA! SAGOT KITA (School Supplies Drive) project aims to: (1) help ensure that all learners have the same opportunitiessto»pursue the school year right and (2) provide school supplies that can be used by the less fortunate learners.

Abanon National High School supports the project: Brigada Aral Ispiritual Kontra Pandemya because they believed that spirituality will help our students in overcoming any pandemic that will come along their lives. One of the important dimensions of teaching in DepEd is the spiritual dimension. Healthy spirituality gives a sense of peace, wholeness and balance among the physical, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of students’ lives.
Spirituality help gstudents cope with illness, suffering and death. Spirituality also influences end-of-life decisions. Students, with or without a connection to organized religion or any spiritual practices, seem to benefit from finding their own sense of meaning, purpose and Gonnectedness and Knowing that God is always with them, Our Students remain strong in facing challenges in their lives
Education Secretary Leonor Briones said learners “can only perform at the height of their performance when they are healthy and strong.” Thus, they need to “actively engage in lifelong habits of regular physical activities for their overall health improvement and quality of life.”
Abanon National High School supports the “Commitment to Reviving Emotional Wellness through Zumba ( CREW-Z )”: The project believes that Zumba helps in achieving one of DepEd’s goal which is to develop the learners not onlyimentally healthy but also physically healthy.
The main goal of the Brigada Pagbilang project is to provide practical and meaningful learning experiences in Mathematics subjects to the learners of Abanon National High School especially to the incoming Grade 7 learners in the locality to achieve quality education. Despite of the pandemic brought by the Covid-19, Abanon National High School never ceases supporting the Intensified Reading Enhancement and Advancement (IREAd) reading program in the Schools Division Office of San Carlos City. The School Core Reading Team ( SCRT) of ANHS headed by Dr. Maurison S. Aquino, Head Teacher I, and with the supervision of Dr. Raul S. Bautista, Principal HI, made possible reading activities in support to the reading program with the aim to reduce the number of students under Frustration and Non-Reader levels, and enhance the reading capability of the learners under Instructional and Independent levels.
The SCRT of ANHS cannot afford to keep the books closed to the learners in this time of crisis. The team made ways to keep the passion burning in helping the students to enjoy the world of reading so that no student should be left behind amidst the crisis. The books will remain open to give hope for tomorrow.

Reading is one of the macro skills that must be developed among learners. It is a skill that help them to deal and understand the various lessons taught in school. It is also an essential skill that students would apply in this fast-changing world in gaining knowledge from the books they read, and information
In response to the results of the national assessment for students’ learning, it was found put that elementary and high school learners are still deficient in literacy skills both in languages and content areas, more in reading. It also reveals that low achievement levels in English, Math, and Science appear to be caused by gaps in learners’ reading comprehension. It shows that there are many low performing ;earners who could not comprehend Math and Science word problems that are written in English.
To address the learning gaps, there is a need to strenghthen the culture of reading in school and in the community in consonance to DepEd Memorandum No. 173, s. 2019 titled Hamon: BAwat Bata Bumabasa (3Bs Initiatives) by putting up reading clinics in the school and in the catchment areas of the school to reach those who live in Sitios or faflung areas. This program is looking forward to having reading clinics with structural supports like reading materials and other paraphernalia are needed to address the needs of the learners.

SCIENCE DEPARTMENT INNOVATION
This innovative project benefitted the one hundred eighty (180) enrolling students and parents in the school during the time frame of the project. They were equipped with knowledge on how to preserve and protect our nature. They became aware of the condition of the state of their environment. They even had a thoughtful conversion of their improper behavior towards environment into being a responsible individual in taking care of proper disposal of waste inside the school. Also, this project became an instrument to assess the reading ability and comprehension level of a learner. We found out that at this very moment, students are at risk of this scenario. There were learners found to be having difficulties in reading text and the level of their comprehension is very poor. In this context, this project became instrumental, not only on dealing with this learner’s reading anomalies but also a way how to arrive at recommending them to the proper authority for fitting action.

Maximizing the site as an ally tool for delivering instructional materials and interactivity among the millennial students. The proposed innovation will also be implemented based on the target section/class involved in the entire instructional quarter. During the first meeting, the teacher will be able to orient the students on how to use the Facebook Group as an innovative tool as part of the blended modality, having a limited face to face classes and distance learning.
There will be 8 weeks in the entire quarter and the students will use the Facebook Group as the channel of passing the intended classwork, announcements, exercises, drills and discussions for the topic in MAPEH 10. The Abanon National High School remains a safe place to study. As the DepEd’s mission goes, students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe, and motivating environment. In this way, we can make sure that our learners are safe from rabid dogs and the rabies virus.
In spite of the provision of providing free full doses of the anti-rabies vaccines from the DOH and being dispensed to the Animal Bite Treatment Center, the number of human rabies deaths remains high, so the proponent wants to eradicate and educate the community that could impact change and responsibility in the community.
This project aims to eliminate the growing number of rabies-infected humans and to have a responsible pet owner, as well as the strict implementation of Republic Act 9482 [Anti Rabies Act of 2007], the provision of free anti-rabies vaccines to all animal bite patients, an intensive community advocacy campaign, and the commitment, partnership, and collaboration of all stakeholders in the Rabies Program's implementation. In order to eradicate the rabies virus, prevention is essential. The proponent urged all pet owners to vaccinate their animals and take good care of them. This is the rabies prevention method that is most inexpensive.
