HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
In the year 1960, the Barangay has an increasing population, From those years the life of the people in the Barangay has little bit established and the people had wished to have a school of their own. It is because in the previous years, their children will all go to Tabang Elementary School and nearby barangay school to study. At first a pre-FAB BUILDING was then constructed to house the pupils under the tutelage of Mrs. Magdalena Balasug and later Mrs Linda Nogueras had joined her. It was then named as Virginia Primary School. In the succeeding years the school population had greatly increased and so another teacher Mrs. Jovita Arao was deployed and that time on every year the school has an increasing teacher provision. But because of insurgency the School was taken back at Tabang but after a year it was returned to Virginia, School building was also increased, Marcos typed building was built during the time of Mr. Jesus Fidel as the Teacher In- charge and was succeeded by Mrs. Felisa Bumatay. Teachers come and go that time, one after the other because there is no permanency of teachers due to its condition as multi-grade class levels, one teacher handle 2 to 3 grade level until in 1994 it was converted into a complete Elementary School, Virginia Elementary School was headed by Mrs. Elena Agumboy as Teacher In- charge and was later promoted to Head Teacher III. It was year 2000 when Virginia Elementary School has its first batch of graduates. From that time on it continuously improves as learning institution and was guided by learning principles, rules and laws of the Department of Education.
