Lubo Elementary School (LES) teaching staff practices safety protocols such as social distancing practices and reminders, temperature monitoring, wearing of face mask, and hand sanitation whenever parents or guardians come to pick up and return their children’s Self Learning Modules.

“Everyone’s safety is our priority; we take time to remind those who come to school to observe safety measures.” Ma’am Magdalena Agumboy, school head, said.

The teacher put signages on the distribution area so that parents would be reminded to follow the procedures.

Meanwhile, parents and teachers were amenable to practicing safety procedures for everyone’s protection against Coronavirus Disease (COVID 19).

SBFP (School-Based Feeding Program) aims to improve the beneficiaries' nutritional status and health. The 27 undernourished learners of Lubo Elementary School receive nutri-buns, fresh milk, healthy chips, and others. Teachers personally delivered the goods to the children’s household.

“Children will be more inspired to learn when they are healthy.”Erwina Lazatin, Kinder Adviser said.

The school has an adequate water supply using an electric water pump. Every classroom has a shared comfort room with a sink for all the learners. The school also has functional handwashing facilities for group handwashing with 4 faucets and 1 portable handwashing facility.
