Teachers up-skill in a School-Based Training on Virtual Conferences

Aybee C. Baliuag, school ICT coordinator conducted school-based in-service training on the use of Zoom, Google Meet, and MS teams as virtual conferencing tools held last April 20-22, 2021 at Lubo Elementary School.

On the first day of training, the participants were given an overview of the three most popular communication online tools that teachers and learners, emphasized the importance of communicating with the learners and with co-workers using Zoom, MS Teams, and Google Meet.

The second day of training facilitated the inviting, managing, and meeting participants in Zoom and Google Meet, sending links and screen sharing.

The third and last day of the training ended with the challenges posted by Ma’am Magdalena R. Agumboy, school head to maximize the utilization of virtual conferencing tools.

Meanwhile, the teachers were very eager to learn and enthusiastically participated in all the learning activities.

Hands-on activities on the use of the different virtual conferencing tools were experienced by them at the end of every session.

Building strong partnership, LES teaching staff joins barangay assembly

Building a strong partnership between school and community, Lubo Elementary School showed harmony with the locality of Barangay Lubo as the teaching staff headed by the school head, Ma’am Magdalena R. Agumboy joined the community in their barangay assembly last March 21, 2021.

During the gathering, Agumboy reiterates the importance of collaboration between the community and school for the betterment of the school children. She also announced and informed the stakeholders of the upcoming activities and concerns of the school.

Moreover, Honorable Barangay Captain Rosendo Baliuag, guaranteed full support in all the endeavors of the school.
