History

Casambalangan Elementary School is located along the national highway. It is also the 3rd biggest Elementary School in Sta Ana District. It has a lot area measuring 16,442 sq. meters acquired through donation from Local Government Unit of Sta Ana. It was opened in the year 1959 with Mr. Peregrino Alan as the School Head. The building of CES was called RP-US building and the Marcos Type Building. These were used as main classrooms of the learners, until such time that these buildings were destroyed by Typhoon Rubing in 1989. Since then, new Buildings were erected like BLSB, BOD and donation from the Phil Chamber of Commerce to accommodate the growing populations of the school. Now, the school has reached 814 enrollees, considering its biggest number listed. From then on, as the population grows bigger and bigger and several School Heads also manned the school from time to time, headed as follows: Mrs. Flor V. Loreto, HT 3 1970-1983 Mrs Erlinda U. Sampayan, P3 2020 to present The school has been actively participating in Academic contest and co-curricular activities like, sport activities but not limited to, BSP/GSP camps in various levels. These activities contribute to the holistic development of a child. Today, the school takes pride as one among the TOP performing schools in Sta Ana District. More awards were reaped through continuous and sustained programs and projects of the academe through the joint efforts of the parents and other internal and external stakeholders.
