Lasam Central School, Leading the Change.
Warm Greetings!
Education is a shared responsibility between dedicated teachers, motivated learners, enthusiastic and supportive parents and other stakeholders. As the saying goes, “It takes a whole Village to educate a Child”. (Nigerian Proverb)
The role of a school today is not only to promote Academic Excellence but also to develop the learners holistically, motivate and empower every Filipino child to become life-long learners, critical learners and productive members in the community.
Our learners are mentored to discover and develop their full potential during the year that he or she learn, grow and develop from kindergarten to 6th grade. Our school also has a functional Alternative Learning System (ALS) that caters adult-learners.
The unwavering commitment of teachers and staff in doing what is best for our learners contribute in the development of the child that will determine of what he will become and what the future holds for him.
This official website is an avenue to inform and to strengthen partnerships and linkages among our parents, learners, stakeholders, government and non-government organizations. All programs, projects, activities, and achievements that includes transparency in governance are featured here.
In behalf of the teaching staff and personnel of Lasam Central School, I would like to thank the Schools Division Office of Cagayan-Information Communication Technology Unit ICTU for making this great things possible.
God Bless Us All!
SYLVIA S, CASTILLEJO
School Principal I
A pearl buried inside a tightly-shut shell is practically worthless. Government information is a pearl, meant to be shared with the public in order to maximize its inherent value. The Transparency Seal, depicted by a pearl shining out of an open shell, is a symbol of a policy shift towards openness in access to government information. On the one hand, it hopes to inspire Filipinos in the civil service to be more open to citizen engagement; on the other, to invite the Filipino citizenry to exercise their right to participate in governance.
This initiative is envisioned as a step in the right direction towards solidifying the position of the Philippines as the Pearl of the Orient a shining example for democratic virtue in the region.
