San Antonio Elementary School, School of Champions
San Antonio Elementary School is located at Barangay San Antonio (Lafu) Lal-lo, Cagayan. It is one of the thirty-five (35) barangays and the only island in the Municipality of Lal-lo. It is bounded on the north by Barangay Catugan, Barangay Malanao on the West and on the East by Barangay Centro, Lal-lo, Cagayan.
San Antonio Elementary School is approximately 6 kilometers away from the Municipal town. The barangay could be reached by motor boat and boat only.
San Antonio Elementary School, the only island in the Municipality of Lal-lo started its operation as Primary School in 1945 and became complete elementary school in 1965 with multi-grade class to 2005. It is the last and farthest school in Lal-lo North District located at the western part surrounded by water.
Its former name was Lafu Elementary School and on January 27, 1992, it was changed to San Antonio Elementary School under House Bill No.21533 during the time of Domingo Luczon as Congressman of the 1st District of Cagayan together with Senator Angara, during its approval as San Antonio Elementary School, Mrs. Celia T. Bunagan was the Schools Division Superintendent and Mr. Joaquin C. Columna was the Principal I and the Officer In-Charge of the District. The school lot has an area of 9762 sq.m. located at San Antonio, Lal-lo, Cagayan, Congressional District 1. The total enrolment of pupils comes from the two feeder Barangay of San Antonio and Fabrica.
