MESSAGE

The Covid-19 pandemic continues to pose challenges in school closures have the Educational System. The temporary school closures have changed the daily lives of the learners, their families, and their teachers. This led to a rapid shift to remote learning which placed more responsibility for learning to the parents and guardians.

The Department of Education finds way for education to continue amidst the threat of COVID-19 while ensuring the health, safety and well - being of everyone in the department. The Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP)was created to ensure learning continuity by adjusting the K-12 curriculum, aligning learning materials and providing appropriate training for teachers and school.

In the children's education, parents, teachers and other stakeholders play a critical role. Their involvement has a significant impact on the learner's academic achievement. In Sta. Barbara Elementary School, the different stakeholders collaborate with one another to support and guide the learners in their learning development while learning at home. This resulted to positive outcomes in a variety of areas, including motivation, responsibility and a better chance of achieving quality education.
