I am so thankful that the school was given the opportunity to come up with the creation of a school website through the attendance of the School Head and the two ICT Coordinators in infrastructure and data management on the Virtual Webinar on PROJECT WEBS by the SDO Cagayan ICT Unit with Sir Andrew Taaca as the proponent of this platform.
As what Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones have said, “Education must continue”. So even amidst this pandemic, the teachers still find ways and means on how they can reach out their learners just so they will be able to deliver the modules to their respective homes as stipulated in D.O. #12, s. 2020 or the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan. Our internal and external stakeholders were so supportive of the programs of the DepED just so we will be able to surpass the challenges brought about by this COVID-19 pandemic.
Teachers are so dedicated and committed to perform their duties and responsibilities attached to their position just so to deliver the goods to our clientele, the “learners”.
Likewise in Technology, The Department of Education keeps on searching on how it can access every school in the Division and here comes the PROJECT WEBS. The school website is a perfect avenue for the school to publish its Programs, Projects and Activities {PPA’s) and its accomplishments for the Department to evaluate, monitor and track how far the school has done for a certain period of time.
With the PROJECT WEBS the school will be able to organize documents/data very well placed in different pages arranged every year.
We, at Basao Elementary School embrace the challenge and we commit ourselves to support whatever Programs, Projects and Activities the Department will have be it curricular or co-curricular. This is now the new normal and we have to be flexible to whatever circumstances that come our way.
With the guidance of our dear Lord we hope and pray that everything will run smoothly as we go over the years and as we battle to this deadly disease which paved the way for people to lose their jobs and killed thousands of lives of many people.
