The school Disaster Risk Reduction and Management aims to have an effective of disaster risk considerations into sustainable development policies, planning and programming at all levels- disaster prevention, mitigation, preparedness and vulnerability reduction.

The Rapid Assessment of Damages Report ( RADaR ) is a mobile and web app developed by DepEd, in partnership with Save the Children Philippines ( SCP ) and Prudence Foundation, that aims to quickly report impacts of different natural hazards in the schools in terms of infrastructure damages, personnel casualties , classrooms used as evacaution centers, temporary learning spaces needed, as well non-infrastructure damages such as furniture , learning resources and computer sets.
