Pursuant to Memorandum No. 71 Reduction and Management Council (N C), the Department of (DepEd) through the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Service (DRR releases this reiteration memorandum on the guidelines of the conduct of Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) during the Coronavirus Disc 2019 (COVID-19} pandemic.

All DepEd personnel arid learners are enjoined to simultaneous practice the "duck, cover, and hold" procedure on the set times. Other exercise such as virtual earthquake drills, tabletop, and functional exercises may also done, while adhering to the minimum public health standards. The target audience for this First quarter NSED are women, children. Youth and Students, Senior Citizens. This aims to highlight the earthquake preparedness efforts for and by the basic sector in pursuit to building a more resilient community.
