Through a series of online and offline meetups, workshops and open sessions the libraries started to recognise their citizens and their selected challenges. This was sometimes challenging itself, due to the restrictions of lockdowns and different guidance for each library in their respective country. We saw different approaches and the need for flexibility in designing and listening to the groups that formed to prototype their challenge. We saw the development of communities wanting to work on health issues, climate matters, gender and technology and working with under-represented groups. For the details of each library’s work go to their pages and read their communities stories.
