LE Math Enrichment

Lower Elementary Math Enrichment

This enrichment helps children look differently at math problems, looking for relationships and patterns with numbers. We use the book Math Puzzles and Patterns for Kids by Kristy Fulton.   This is a great resource as it also exposes kids to math history and geography while introducing concepts with discovering patterns. 

We look at The Fibonacci Sequence,  Pascal's Triangle, Ramanujan's Combinations, Magic Squares and Ben Franklin, Sudoku, Tangrams, Sacred Numbers,  and The Number Zero and Mayan Math.  We have time to extend on most sections.
