There are also many landmarks, also called features, on the skull that indicate places of significance to anthropologists for a variety of reasons. If each bone of the skull was a city, features would be the must-see tourist attractions. This manual highlights some significant features that will be important for our future discussions of comparative primate anatomy, but note that there are also many more significant points on the skull of interest to anthropologists that exist, that are not included in this manual.
