Drawing & Painting

The Drawing & Painting course is a pre-requisite to the AP Studio Art courses. The Drawing & Painting course framework is composed of course skills, big ideas, essential questions and enduring understandings, learning objectives, and essential knowledge. Students will be introduced to a variety of art mediums, styles and techniques and will develop, practice, and apply these skills in a variety of contexts.
