Welcome to Mrs. Fisher's 6th grade class at Ocean Air! I have taught students from 1st grade through college, but 6th grade holds a special place in my heart. This is my 13th year teaching 6th grade at Ocean Air, and I still love it.

I received my Bachelor's degrees in Philosophy and Film and my Master's degree in Education with an emphasis in Mathematics. I taught primary grades in Cajon Valley Union School District, and I was a Math Education Lecturer and Student Teacher Supervisor at San Diego State University Teacher Credential Program.

Welcome to Sixth Grade! We are enthusiastic about the new school year and looking forward to meeting all of you. This year's sixth-grade team is Mrs. Fisher, Mrs. Gregg, and Ms. Hodges. We will be working together closely to ensure all students have a positive sixth-grade experience, both academically and socially.
Sixth grade is an important milestone filled with many new and exciting opportunities. Creating a positive classroom environment and preparing your child for middle school will be our guiding forces throughout the school year.

When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. You can often find me reading, doing puzzles, hiking, taking walks, traveling, and cooking.
