As an educator, I believe all students are capable and have the desire to learn. It is my goal to set all students up for success to ensure they reach their full potential. It is my desire to instill a love for lifelong learning. My teaching style is focused on student centered learning and providing my students with the best methods and strategies necessary to guide and inform students. My hope is to leave students with a positive experience that they will cherish for a lifetime. I hope my students never stop questioning the world around them, continue to embrace learning throughout their lives and are respectful of themselves and others. I want students and families to feel they have a dedicated and knowledgable teacher who brought curiosity and creativity to the educational process. One of my favorite quotes is, "Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire". The opportunity to ignite a spark in students' learning is what fuels my passion for teaching. I cannot wait to get to know your kiddos and ignite that spark for each and everyone of them!
