Welcome! My name is Maddie Blake and I am the school counselor at Torrey Hills School!
Educational Background and Professional Experience:
I went to San Diego State University and University of San Diego for undergrad and grad school! I have my masters in School Based Clinical Counseling, and a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish. I am also a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC)
I am so happy to be the school counselor and I am super excited for this year at Torrey Hills School!

What to Expect in School Counseling?
I have always had a passion for working with children, and creating courses of action and programs to fully support students as they develop into young adults!
As a school counselor, my goal is to be a safe space, teammate and support system for students, families, and staff at Torrey Hills School. I will work with students individually, in a small group setting or in their classrooms. This year, students and families can look forward to grade-level assemblies covering a wide range of social-emotional skills, parent workshops, and so much more! I am excited to work with all of our students and families and look forward to an awesome school year!

I am a lifelong San Francisco Giants fan and lover of all things Disney! I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going to the beach, hiking, camping, watching tv shows and movies, playing volleyball and soccer, and reading at the park!
