4th Grade Teacher
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I have taught 4th, 5th, and 6th for 16 years with a long break in the middle to stay home with my 5 kids. I have worked in many school settings and have been with DMUSD for 10 years.
I am so excited to share many meaningful learning experiences with your children!
Educational Philosophy
I have dedicated my life to children and their development as human beings. I believe that all children are natural learners, curious about the world around them. My role as a teacher is to facilitate this learning through experiences that draw on their strengths and interests. I find such great joy and inspiration by being a part of children's lives.
My Life
I am originally from Wisconsin and have lived in San Diego for 32 years. My husband and I have been married for 28 years and have 5 amazing children. My favorite things in life are being outdoors running and walking, reading, singing and traveling. I love an adventure and so far life has been a great one!
