Aleeya Irshad is a third year Computer Engineering student at Lassonde School of Engineering at York University. In her field, she enjoys the duality of working with both software and hardware components to drive the creation of innovative solutions. In her free time, you can find her working on personal projects, like app development, AI research and learning more about emerging technologies like NPUs. Something interesting about Aleeya is that she has a passion for entrepreneurship and would love to have her own tech business in the future!

Cheryl is a 3rd year Computer Science student at UBC Vancouver. In her field, she enjoys creating AI projects for image classifcation and object detection. In her free time, you can find her swimming in any body of water available to her. Something interesting about Cheryl is her sand collection from all over the world, including Bulgaria, Vatican City, Morocco, Indonesia, and much, much more!

In her field, she enjoys mathematical foundations of computing, particularly in areas like data science and machine learning, and making technology more accessible, especially for women and girls in STEM. In her free time, you can find her tinkering with coding projects and listening to tech podcasts. Something interesting about Leyla is that she loves to dive into mathematical proofs like they’re a fun puzzle, enjoying the thrill of figuring out how everything fits together.
