What’s covered in this virtual conference series?

Each session in this 3-part series will include a keynote from an Esports expert, breakout working sessions to help you build your plan and network, and panel discussions to share insights from students, school leaders and Esports industry experts.

Session 1 - Game On! Why Esports for your school?

June 23, 2020 - 1:00 - 4:00 pm EDT

Esports provides many student benefits beyond having fun. It offers new ways for students to engage in school activities, to develop new skills and to explore new career paths in the fast growing gaming industry. This session will help you clarify: “Why Esports for our school?”

This is the first session of a 3 session series. Although the content in each session will build upon itself for your esports plan, it is not required to attend all 3 sessions to benefit from the knowledge and networking opportunities gained in each session.

Session 2 - Game On! What Esports in Education Looks Like

July 14, 2020 - 1:00 - 4:00 pm EDT

Looks Like Running an effective Esports program requires coordinating many elements in this newly emerging school sport. This session will help you plan your program, including how to run a team, operations & budgeting, space planning, technology selection and more.

This is the second session of a 3 session series. Although the content in each session will build upon itself for your esports plan, it is not required to attend all 3 sessions to benefit from the knowledge and networking opportunities gained in each session.

Session 3 - Game On! Making Esports Real

July 28, 2020 - 1:00 - 4:00 pm EDT

You’ve defined why Esports is right for your school, you know what a program looks like, and now you need a launch plan to meet your organization’s goals. This session will cover strategies to help you gain support from your organization leaders and community as well as the ins and outs of event planning and league play.

This is the final session of a 3 session series. Although the content in each session will build upon itself for your Esports plan, it is not required to attend all 3 sessions to benefit from the knowledge and networking opportunities gained in each session.
