They are designed to inspire and enlighten, and can create enthusiasm and entice students to try their hardest, helping to maximize their abilities.
The annual Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge invites students in grades 5-8 to submit a 1-2 minute video describing a unique solution to an everyday problem for the chance to win $25,000 and an exclusive 3M Mentorship. Ten finalists will be chosen for their passion for science, spirit of innovation and ingenuity, and effective communication skills.

Math Madness
Math Madness
Math Madness an online, team-based competition event. This enables students to compete in leagues of weekly competition followed by a by a nation-wide, single elimination bracket tournament. Students will prepare weekly with Ms. Brown, our Gifted Liaison until competition begins. This is a virtual opportunity. Students will use Microsoft Teams, and online resources. The initial meetings will be held during the school day, with competitions moving to an afternoon session outside of school hours.
