2026-2027 Henderson Middle School S.T.E.M. Online Application 

***CURRENT 6th and 7th Grade HMS STEM Program Cohort Members DO NOT NEED TO RE-APPLY***

9/29/25 - The application for the 2026-2027 HMS Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Program will open for next year's 6th, 7th, and 8th grade cohorts, pending Administrative approval. 

Student applications are calculated using winter Math and Science MAP scores, current teacher recommendations, and student responses to application questions. Each of these sections are reviewed and scored before creating a combined total application score for each student. Total scores will determine eligibility, and only online applications will be accepted. 

Please Note: Unlike DeKalb County School Choice, acceptance into the HMS STEM Program does NOT change an applicant's eligibility to attend Henderson Middle School.
