Sufficiency Economy is a philosophy bestowed by His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej on guiding Thai people the way of living in a middle path for over 30 years, before Thailand has suffered from the effects of economic crisis in 1997, which has been an important lesson of development’s drawbacks. A philosophy of Sufficiency Economy has been used as the way of living in a middle path and being moderated, reasonable, and self-immunity without carelessness. Furthermore, the state of being knowledgeable, moral, prudent, and patient would lead to the true happiness in life.
