2 Factor Authorization
Now that you have 2FA set up, let's discuss backup codes for a "just in case" your phone dies, is lost, decides to take a swim or any other reason you may not be able to verify the second factor.
Google has backup codes you can use. They are a one time use code.
The document walks through where to get them.
Do not print them out and let them sit out in the open, but instead put them somewhere safe but with you. Like in your wallet or purse.
Remember they are a one time code, once used it is no longer valid.
