For experienced scouts: youth leadership and merit badge program.
For older scouts (14+ years old): challenging High Adventure Program.
Troop Activities
Scouts select each year’s activities in August. Outings are held monthly except December. Troop aims for a wide variety of activities based on scouts’ interests: base camps, primitive camps, day hikes, backpacking, mountain biking, snow sports, kayak/canoeing, fishing, shooting sports, and much more.
Troop Summer Camps
Troop Summer Camp is a week-long camp held at a BSA camp with nationally certified program and facilities. Optional out of state camps are held every few years. Older scouts (14+ year-olds) can participate in exciting trips to High Adventure bases such as Philmont and Sea Base. Troop trips are held every few years based on interest.
Individual Opportunities
Troop promotes individual activities offered by BSA: individual summer camp at Camp Geronimo, Order of the Arrow scouting honor society, district and council events, family Scout-nights, High Adventure Activities, and jamborees. For high school age, the troop offers dual registration in co-ed Venturing Crew 513.
