DECA members say their experience prepared them academically for college and career (91%), influenced their college plans (64%), influenced their career plans (73%) and influenced their interest in entrepreneurship and owning a business (66%).
DECA's competitive events are aligned with the National Curriculum Standards in the career clusters of marketing, business management and administration, finance, and hospitality and tourism.
