Deer Creek's PSO exists to provide encouragement, volunteers, and funding as needed for education programs, enrichment items, and community events to better our school, staff, and families at Deer Creek Elementary.
There is no membership fee. Any parent or guardian who has a Deer Creek student is a member of PSO with voting rights.
We rely on the kindness, skill, and dedication of a handful of volunteers, and are always looking for new ones!

These are your 2025-2026 PSO Board Members, all of whom are Deer Creek parent volunteers!
Amy has two kids at Deer Creek and one at Twality. She currently serves as the PSO President and enjoys being actively involved in the Deer Creek community as a regular substitute with the SPED team and a frequent volunteer in the school library. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Amy attended San Diego State University, where she met her husband, Dave. In 2015, they made Oregon their home. In her free time, Amy enjoys traveling, cooking, and staying active with her family.
Jessica is excited to be your VP of Community + Outreach! She has a son at Deer Creek in 3rd grade, plus a soon to be kindergartner and a newborn. She is a stay-at-home-mom and a part-time substitute in Beaverton School District. She loves camping and hiking with her family. Her hobby is flower arranging for events.
Liz has a first grade daughter at Deer Creek and a PreK son who will join Deer Creek for Kindergarten next year! She is a native Oregonian and Oregon State grad (Go Beavs!) She is a part time Physical Therapist Assistant in acute care + stay at home mom. She loves traveling, spending time with her family, and reading. Her new favorite hobby this year is learning how to play Mahjong! She’s loving her role on PSO this year, and the new community she’s getting to know better.
Jessica has a fourth grade daughter at Deer Creek and a seventh grade son at Twality. She’s been volunteering at the school since her son was in kindergarten and is excited to take on this board position! She works as the office manager of an environmental consulting firm. She enjoys attending her kids sporting events, reading, and spending time outdoors.
Shari is a mom to three boys in TTSD, from pre-k through 6th grade. She works in Learning & Development + HR. In her spare time, she enjoys running, working out, playing bunco, hand lettering, reading and pretty much anything social. Having dreamt of being a teacher in a past life, she's always loved volunteering at Deer Creek, and is enjoying her new role on PSO. Her favorite things about volunteering are seeing the smiles on the kiddo's faces, getting to know families and staff, and ensuring that Deer Creek is a welcoming & inclusive community for all students and their families!
