Deer Creek's PSO exists to provide encouragement, volunteers, and funding as needed for education programs, enrichment items, and community events to better our school, staff, and families at Deer Creek Elementary.
There is no membership fee. Any parent or guardian who has a Deer Creek student is a member of PSO with voting rights.
We rely on the kindness, skill, and dedication of a handful of volunteers, and are always looking for new ones!
Here are the 2024-2025 PSO Board Members, all Deer Creek parent volunteers

An important thing to know about Jen is that she LOVES Deer Creek! Her son is a fifth grader this year, and has attended Deer Creek since kindergarten. She volunteers in the library, for Art Lit, and pretty much every event Deer Creek has. She works part time as an RN in the Medical/Oncology department at Meridian Park Medical Center, and in her free time she likes to read, run, hike, travel, and spend time with friends and family. Jen is looking forward to helping make this a great year at Deer Creek!

Katie has two boys who attend Deer Creek, and spends her time working as a Senior Loan Officer, as well as a Title 1 Assistant here at school. She loves hiking, cooking, reading, watching football and spending time with her family. If she could meet one fictional character it would be Holden Caulfield, and if she could only eat 2 foods for the rest of her life she would choose potstickers and tacos.
Brittney has three sons: a 5th grader and a 3rd grader at Deer Creek (since kindergarten), and an 8th grader at Mt. View in Newberg!
