What you should know!

In our middle school, we use Google Classroom as a way to assign student work, provide links to websites, share assignments, make class announcements, and much more.

Students are expected to check Google Classroom, for all of their classes, on a daily basis.  If a student is absent, this is also a way to check-in with the teachers.

Students' grades are kept in PowerSchool.  Parents should have parent log-in information and students should have his/her/their own log-in.  This is a way to  check in on  grades and to check for missing assignments, etc.    If you need that log-in information again, please contact the office.  The use of PowerSchool means students and parents  always know if an assignment is missing and  what the grade is for every class.

Students are  expected to come to class fully prepared with the items expected by each teacher, including homework.  Every teacher expects students to come to class with a pencil, a fully charged laptop and any notebooks or books required.  It makes life so much easier when everyone is prepared!  Unfortunately, if students do not come prepared, he/she/they may receive a sit-in or a detention.

Work is expected on the day is it assigned.  Late work may be docked points, depending upon the assignment and the extenuating circumstances.
