This is from our family trip to Newfoundland a few years ago. We hiked into the Tablelands, where the theory of plate tectonics was proven.
I graduated from the University of Maine-Farmington in 2003 with a degree in Elementary Education and a math concentration. I have prior experience working for the Ellsworth School Department, first as a Technology Educator and then as a teacher. I taught students ranging from grades 2-12. Before coming to work at Dedham, I took some time to stay home with my young children. Now my son Owen is 16 and my twin daughters Fiona and Phoebe are 14. This is my 9th year at Dedham School, and I love teaching there!
After many night and summer classes, I am an art teacher; this will be my fifth year teaching art to grades PreK-8. I will also be teaching an Algebra class, and I will have an 8th grade homeroom.
I am very excited for this upcoming school year. Please reach out with any question. See you soon!
