Welcome to the K-5 Summer Reading Home Page! We hope that all students will read widely for fun and be prepared to come back to school ready to share about their favorite books from the summer. Students are encouraged to participate in the below 2024 Dedham Summer Reading Olympics. The Dedham Public Library also has a summer reading program that can be accessed here. myON Reader will be available all summer long! Students are encouraged to participate in family book clubs and post a review of their favorite book(s).

Language & Word Study
Students are not required to use Lexia over the summer. However, Lexia will be available through August 10th. Please note that we will not be able to adjust student's Lexia levels over the summer, as teachers will be away.
