One of the places you could visit is the Nile Delta. The Nile delta lies in northern Egypt, where the river Nile reaches the Mediterranean Sea. Professor Dr. H. de Vriend stated in 2009, "the Delta begins approximately 20 km north of Cairo and extends North for about 150 km.". As a result, the delta is highly inhabited, with the Nile Delta housing 50% of Egypt's population.
The Nile Delta was a significant element in the development of Ancient Egypt; as DaVaun Sanders said in 2018, "it played an intrinsic part in their religion, culture and day-to-day sustenance." Apart from providing fertile land, the Nile Delta protected the North of Egypt from invaders.
