Most people are aware of the expected benefits of exercise. You become stronger, faster, and are overall in better shape. Regular exercise though possesses great benefits in both physical and mental health. Physically, the internal organs within your body become stronger, and mentally rates of depression and anxiety can lower.
Why I chose this topic
I chose this topic as exercise as it has always been very important to me. I enjoy lifting in my free time, and I am on both the cross-country and track teams. I've always wondered what benefits I am getting from regular exercise. I was aware of the physical and mental benefits, but I knew little about the science behind them. I looked towards this project to discover why exercise is so good for your body.
