Sustainable Tesla Shipping Stingray

What was the project?

What we did was choose one of Tesla's patents and make a project that solves a problem in the world.

What problem did you choose to solve?

Pollution.

What did you design?

We looked to nature for a design and we thought of how stingrays and manta rays move. So we took the design of a manta ray and chose our design.

What patent does this use?

The patents we chose to look at were "Wave Oscillator" and "The Utilization of energy transmitted through natural media" for a power source.

How does this solve the problem you chose?

Well it doesn't emit and gas because it isn't propelled by jets but by gliding with wings. The power source is sustainable and it could transport goods quicker than a giant cargo ship.

What was your prototype?

First we made a model out of clay and a model made of Zomes. The second model was made of Knex and the wings can move with human help. Like a giant puppet.
