Nikola Tesla Linked PBL Challenges

Want to empower students to collaborate with experts, explore insights and understandings through meaningful inquiry, and creatively communicate through design? The Nikola Tesla linked challenges accomplish this through exploring why humans create. Students work with design thinking, patents, sustainability, and innovate solutions that may be applied to real-world problems.

The project highlights how student choice and voice afford divergence and support learner-driven authentic work. Students use the engineering design process to innovate forward thinking uses for Tesla patents and through the creation of a Tesla memorial, express their insights as they come to understand the technological impacts and influences of Tesla in our daily lives.
