"You Will Remember Me..." — 💀LeBron James☠
Why Did I Make This Website?...🤔
To be completely honest… I didn’t want to make this website or need to because of school. I made it because, four days ago, my homie Safwan and I decided to have a little competition to see who could make the better website. From the get-go, though, I was already at a disadvantage because Safwan had already made his website, so I had to hurry my ass over to Google Sites to get this shi going.
But then the question was—how would we know whose website is better and reigns supreme? Or more importantly, who would decide? Because Safwan is clearly biased… not me at all.
Well, that person is actually here with us right now, in this very room. So yeah, the singular, sole purpose of this website was to impress Zahirul Faiza Alam🤮—and her biological cousin, Safwan Alam 🤓
If The World Ended Today: This Is My Speech 🌍💥
First and foremost, I’d thank the One, the Only, الله سبحانه وتعالى (Allah SWT). Through every high and every low, He was always there for me, even when I didn’t realize it or see it. Every blessing I have, every opportunity, every moment of happiness—it all came from Him. Even the challenges taught me something and made me stronger. Fasting all the days in Ramadan for the past 4–5 years brought me closer to Him and increased my God-consciousness, as well as reading the Quran more consistently this year, which also brought me closer to Him, and I’m grateful for that.
I’d like to thank Allah for the clothes on my back, the wonderful food on my table, and the roof over my head. I’d like to thank Allah for every minute I’ve lived without death. I’d like to thank Allah for the air I breathe and the water I drink. I’d like to thank Allah for every single one of my intact and functioning limbs, blood cells, and pieces of tissue that allow me to properly function as a human being. I’d like to thank Allah for the opportunity to live another day to pray and do good deeds. I’d like to thank Allah for His mercy and forgiveness. I’d like to thank Allah for the good and faith He puts in my heart. And I’d like to thank Allah for my family, friends, and my children.
I know I’m not perfect, but I’ve been trying.
I’d thank my parents. There’s no way I could ever fully repay them for everything they’ve done. From raising me to supporting me in ways I don’t even notice, they’ve always been there. I’d like to thank them for all their patience with me. I’d like to thank them for making sure I went to bed with a full stomach. I’d like to thank them for telling me to shower when I stank. I’d like to thank my parents for giving me the opportunities they didn’t have. I’d like to thank my parents for teaching me right from wrong. I’d like to thank my parents for always reminding me to pray, fast, and make duas for my family. I’d like to thank my parents for giving me an amazing childhood, full of fun. I’d like to thank my parents for always wanting the best for me. And I’d like to thank my parents for shaping my future and building a great foundation in me from a very young age.
Every sacrifice, every bit of effort—they did it for me. Even when I don’t say it enough, I appreciate and love them more than words can explain.
I’d thank my family and relatives for always being part of my life, for the support, the gatherings, the conversations—everything that made life feel full. I’d like to thank all my relatives for the birthday and Eid money they gave me. I’d like to thank my relatives for always FaceTiming me all the way from Bangladesh to check up on me. I’d like to thank my relatives for all the gifts and fun times we shared. I’d like to thank my relatives for the great food they cooked for me. I’d like to thank my relatives for the life lessons they shared.
And my friends… the people who made life fun. The laughs and the jokes. I’d like to thank my friends for being such good boys that my parents would compare me to them all the time. I’d like to thank one of my friends all the way back in Grade 6 for telling the teachers I was in the girls’ bathroom (by accident). I’d like to thank my friends for letting me humble them and boost my confidence. I’d like to thank my friends for giving me something to consistently laugh at time and time again. I’d like to thank my friends for giving me someone to blame when we got in trouble. I’d like to thank my friend for being so ass at 2K and letting me beat him. I’d like to thank my friends for wasting all my time during recess in elementary school. I’d like to thank my friends on my basketball team for never catching the ball. I’d like to thank my friends for the fun times we shared when whipping each other with towels in the boys’ changeroom. I’d like to thank my friends for slingshotting my Pokémon cards onto the roof and getting them stuck. And I’d like to thank my friends for being a punching bag when I’m mad.
I’d also think about the things I was working toward—my goals, my dreams, and the progress I was making. Saving up, improving in basketball, and trying to grow as a person. Even if I didn’t reach all my goals in this dunya, I’m proud that I was trying.
If I had one message to leave behind, it would be this: don’t take anything for granted. Appreciate the people around you while you still can. Work toward your goals, but don’t forget to live in the moment too. Life isn’t just about the big achievements—it’s about the small moments that you don’t realize are important until they’re gone.
And if this really were the end… I’d just hope that when it’s all said and done, I’m remembered for something real and that I didn't waste the time I was given.
My Tribute To LeSaviour: LeBron Raymoane James Sr. 👑🏀
Oh my Glorious Pookie Bear LeBron James where do I even begin...
Some people play basketball. Some people watch basketball. And then there’s LeBron James—a being so transcendent that calling him a player is an insult to humanity itself. I’m not just talking about talent. I’m talking about the way that the One, the Only, الله سبحانه وتعالى (Allah SWT) decided to bless the world with an unstoppable force of perfection and impeccability.
Today, I stand here not just as a fan, a worshiper, but as a lifelong admirer—someone who has witnessed greatness in its purest form. LeBron James is not just a basketball player. He’s not just an athlete. He’s not even just a legend.
He’s a lifestyle. My very own lifestyle.
Watching LeBron James isn’t just entertainment. It’s a daily ritual. A necessity. A requirement. It's mandatory. Some people wake up and drink water. Some people wake up and check their phone.
I wake up and consume LeBron.
Some people wake up and drink coffee.
I wake up and drink LeBron
And yes… I said drink
Because it’s not enough to just watch greatness—you have to absorb it. Let it flow through you. Let it guide your decisions. Let it influence your entire personality and existence as a whole.
Some might call that obsession or a flat-out issue.
I call it dedication.
Dear LeBron Raymoane James Sr,
From the bottom of my heart, Thank you
Thank you for giving be something to cheer for
Thank you for giving me a reason to exist
Thank you for the moments that made my heart race and crave your greatness
Thank you for inspiring me to push harder, dream bigger, and never settle for anything less than excellence.
Thank you for every chase-down block that reminded me that physics is optional when you’re LeBron James.
Thank you for every three-pointer that made my soul scream with awe and made my pants a little wet💦.
Thank you for being the reason I check my phone for highlights at 5 AM.
Thank you for inspiring me to move differently, think differently, and maybe even dribble like you in my dreams.
And most of all… thank you for existing. Because without you, life would be a lot dimmer, the game would be a lot smaller, and my fandom would be… incomplete.
So today, this tribute isn’t just admiration. It’s worship. It’s reverence. It’s a full-blown homage to the man, the myth, the King. Thank you, LeBron, for showing the world that greatness is possible, for giving us moments that feel unreal, and for existing in a way that makes all of us slightly better… or at least more entertained.
Finally, thank you for being YOU
Because now I can sleep well at night knowing that there will NEVER be another LeBron James.
Forever in awe,
Ahnaf Safwan
